Baking Soda......the miracle substance?

What are ALL the uses of baking soda? And can it be used to get rid of acne?

I wouldn't use it on your skin - it can be very very drying.

I use it with my toothpaste to whiten my teeth. I HAVE gargled with it when I had a sore throat/cold, and it helped make my throat feel better. My grandfather used to drink a half of a cup of it to help his upset stomach. He would burp afterwards...soo loud! LOL!!

This is a great resource for baking soda. I have started to use baking soda and other natural ingredients for all of my cleaning needs in my home. Check out this website and use the menu on the left hand side of the page to look at the many uses of baking soda. I am not sure about the acne. I have never heard that one before.

it's good for cleaning pet homes, like if u have a guinea pig [they r small and sensitive to everything] u could get baking soda and a tiny bit of water and scrub out anything. it gets rid of odors rly well, and its totally safe. [[rinse it out! duh...]]

you can brush your teeth with, getsrid of odors in carpet, and fridge put it in your toliet with vinegar and it claens your tolet.

It descales kettles and removes stains from coffee cups.
