Question:

Baking Soda whiter teeth?

I have been told that baking soda does wonders on making teeth white.

So...

Do I just get some baking soda and put my toothbrush on it?

Or do I need to mix in water?

  1. I sprinkle some on my toothpaste!!! You should see results in a couple of weeks :)

  2. i wet the toothbrush and dip it in the baking soda. you can put some peroxide on it too.

  3. Instead of baking soda I suggest you use sand.  Anything that will increase the abrasiveness of your toothpaste up to the point where it not only strips away some stain...making your teeth "whiter", but will also start removing your enamel!

Of course I am kidding.  There is nothing special about baking soda.  It just scraps off a little more stain than your toothpaste alone.  It does nothing chemically to whiten your teeth.
