Baking with splenda?? whats with the taste?

i was making snickerdoodles once and by accident i bought the wrong kind of splenda

it was the regular kinda you put in teas

but i didn't buy the baking kind, so after you create the dough for snickerdoodles and roll them around in the cinnamon sugar (which i did ) i baked them and i tried one and it tasted soooooooooo sweet

whats the reason for this? maybe because i bought the wrong type of splenda or i used too much of it??

and splenda causes cancer right?

how does baking wiht splenda taste when you bake with it?

  1. Splenda has a much sweeter taste than sugar.  You have to cut it by 1/3 in order for it to taste right.

    There is no scientific proof that Splenda causes cancer.
