16 Na2O2 16 H2O ----> 32 NaOH 8 O2

CaC2 H2O -----> C2H2 Ca(OH)2

  1. 2Na2O2 + 2H2O = 4NaOH + O2

    CaC2 + 2H2O = C2H2 + Ca(OH)2


  2. the first equation is balanced correctly already...or if you were asking if it was correct? then yes, it is

    you have 32 Na, 48 O, and 32 H on each side

    the whole thing can be divided by 8 though

    for the second, simply put a 2 infront of the H20 on the left of the equation

    you then have 1 Ca, 2 C, 4 H, and 2 O on each side
