Balancing a Chemical Equation?

I've looked at this problem and nothing is working out for me. could anyone please balance this equation for me?

Ca3(PO4)2 + H2SO4 --> Ca(H2PO4)2 + Ca(HSO4)2

(note that random H in the last product)

  1. Your equation cannot be balanced as written.  It's a double replacement reaction with the formula AB + CD = BC + AD

    In your equation A = Ca, B = PO4, C = H, D = SO4.  Now put them together with the appropriate subscripts and balance:

    Ca3(PO4)2 + 3H2SO4 = 2H3PO4 + 3CaSO4
