Baldini believes A.S http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603 have a bright future and thanks the fans for their support
A.S Roma General Manager, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Franco-c14050 Baldini, is predicting a bright future for the Giallorossi but he has demanded patience from the fans.
Baldini joined the Capital Club recently after resigning from his similar role with the English national football team. The former Bari midfielder has urged the fans to back the manager, Luis Enrique, and believes that the project
will be extremely successful in the future.
Baldini said, “We are a young team and it’s going to take patience. The important thing is to grow, which we can only do through good football. Luis Enrique has the full faith of the club and we’ll carry on along this path.”
Roma suffered a 2-3 defeat in their recent encounter against Italian Champions, A.C Milan, at the Stadio Olimpico Rome over the weekend recently. The Capital Club was recently taken over by an American group owned by Thomas Di
Benedetto. The new owner wanted to implement a new philosophy which would help them to replicate Barcelona’s style of play.
The 51-year-old admitted that his team is growing well through some lovely football and the praised the manager for his contribution in developing them.
The former Bologna star has thanked the fans for their full backing and has insisted that they should continue to back the club in the same way in the future too.
“The Giallorossi crowd have realised the value of our project. We want to build a great squad and the future is ours. At the moment, though, we cannot afford to sign big champions. If we lose, then the fans are only right to protest,
but I am happy with their attitude.”
Baldini also rejected reports of a rift between the striker http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Marco-Borriello-c23672 and Luis Enrique and insisted that the manager has assured full backing to the former A.C Milan striker.
“There is no problem with Marco. Neither the Coach nor the club have anything against him."
A.S Roma will take on Attilio Tesser’s, Novara, in their next game on Saturday, November 5, 2011. Roma have now collected 11 points from nine games played thus far and are placed 13th in the league table.
