A.S Roma general manager, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Franco-c14050 Baldini, has once again backed the club manager, Luis Enrique, and is delighted with the successive victories against Napoli and Bologna respectively.
After the recent struggles, Roma have bounced back strongly and have won their last two successive league games. Several fans and former football players were calling for Enrique’s sacking as the Giallorossi manager, but Baldini
showed faith in the manager’s abilities.
Baldini believes that the team is still playing the same way as they were doing a few weeks back, but the difference is that they are getting the results now. The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 national team general manager admitted that the team
has played well in their games against Udinese and Fiorentina, but unfortunately the results did not support their performance.
The 51-year-old believes that Enrique’s project is working very well and they can witness the growth now.
“The result has this magical ability to give the perception of the events that occurred in a different light, whether the team had had more or less of the game. Even at times when the result has not be achieved, as in Udine and
Florence, the team has shown its own identity.”
“The quality of the players’ interpretation has changed, therefore so has the way we play. Against Juventus and Napoli we have had less possession because they are two very strong teams. Enrique’s proposal has always remained the
same, it is clear that he is making a personal journey of growth, even going beyond what might be our expectations.”
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603 have had a topsy-turvy 2011/12 season thus far. The Giallorossi are currently placed 7th in the league table, and have collected 24 points from 16 points thus far.
Baldini joined the capital club after leaving the England national team recently, and the former Pescara star is pleased to be part of the project.
Roma will play Chievo Verona in their next game after the winter break.
