Tottenham Hotspurs attacker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gareth-Bale-c14422 feels that his side are finally back on track, following a goalless draw with Chelsea this past weekend.
The London based club took on Chelsea in the Premier League and following a rather dull encounter between the two teams, the match ended in a goal less draw.
This draw saw the team go on and see out their fifth game in a row without a win, while dropping them to the fourth spot in the league table.
Last month Tottenham were sitting in the third spot in the league table, possessing a twelve point lead over the Gunners. However, a very poor run over the last couple of weeks has seen the team drop that lead and fall one spot below the Gunners.
However, Bale is confident that the draw against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 is going to give his side a much needed confidence boost, as the team looks to go on and pick up their form in the coming weeks.
Bale admitted that the team wasn’t in the best of forms at the moment, but also insisted that things were finally looking up for the team.
The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wales-c3041 international is quoted to have said: "We haven't been at our best in the last month so it was vitally important that we put in a good performance and got a positive result at Stamford Bridge"
"Now hopefully we can get back to winning in the next game and then kick on and get that third spot.”
He then claimed that Arsenal needed to lose a game or two, in order for Tottenham to pick up the pace and level things out with their local rivals.
"We need http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 to lose now so we can get back on level terms.”
"The lads all know we have stopped the rot now. I think we have had our blip now and now we can look forward to some positive results and get back where we belong."
It is now going to be an interesting fight between both the North London clubs, as they look to try and finish the season in a spot above each other.
