Ball boys/girls?

why do they have ball boys/girls are the tennis playes to lazy to fetch there own balls.

It's to make sure the game runs as smoothly as possible. They also assist in moving the balls from one end of the court to another, aiding the players during their breaks and with their towels on court.

When a match lasts 3 hours imagine how much longer it would take if the players had to fetch the balls everytime they hit a moon ball!!

You could ask why Golfers dont carry their own bags - on the satellite circuits, players often have to to without ballboys.
