  1. it should be fine what i'd be worried about if it will eat mice again. i heard with rats if they get bitten most likely the snake will starve itself. but with the mouse since it was so small he might not of felt it. he should be just fine.

  2. no need for the vet.  just clean it with some warm water and dab a tiny bit of neosporin (sp) on it.  watch the spot it probably won't get infected but if it does call the vet and ask what to do.  most will give free advice over the phone.

  3. You should take him to the vet...best thing to do for him now. They would give him some cream or something to help it heal quicker and it wouldn't get infected. Better to be safe then sorry.

And this is way you should NEVER feed your snake live rats or mice........

Why doesn't anyone ever listen? -_- grrr

Have you tried switching him to frozen/thawed? It would help a lot on the vet bills too.

  4. From now one, feed him an unconscious or pre-killed mouse.

Just go to where you buy the live ones, and ask them to KO it for you.

They might end up just killing it, but my big guy doesn't mind.
