  1. Feed it the size of the widest part of the snakes body.

  2. i have a baby ball python and i feed it 2 pinkies every friday and after a couple months im going to start getting 2 fuzzies and after a couple months im going to get 2 hoppers and after a couple months im going to start giving him 2 adult mice and feed him every other week

  3. Hello; that depends on the size of your snake. :)

The general rule of thumb is to feed your snake a prey item that is roughly the same size in diameter as the widest part of your snake's body.

Most baby Ball pythons can be started on rat pinks/pups. It is generally best to start feeding a Ball python rats at an early age so you don't have to deal with the switching over process later on; which can be particularly difficult with this species. :)

So you can have a visual of what I am talking about; here is a website that has pictures of the various sizes of rats.

I hope this helps, and if you have any further questions at all on the subject; please feel free to message me and I will be more than happy to assist you.

Good luck with your new Ball python!

  4. hmm i doubt a baby ball python would feed on pinkies seeing how big it is. from hatchlings i seen they feed on fuzzies when they are just born but uh iono um think of it like this ur snake can stretch its head 3x its size so usually even baby ball pythons can eat a whole mouse

  5. PINKIES!

  6. probably fuzzies
