  1. keep humity high and once or twice a day spray her down with a mist bottle

  2. Putting your snake in the bath tub to soak them does little more than give you a wet snake.  Give your snake a week and a half to two weeks to shed on it's own (from start to finish).  If your snake is having a bad shed take a plastic box, large enough for your snake to fit in it comfortably.  Get the short boxes for soaking snakes…the box should be about the height to go under a bed.  Drill several small holes along the sides at the top for airflow (this box can also be used as a feeding tub for your snake).  Put about a half inch or an inch of lukewarm water (about 80 Fahrenheit) and put the top on the plastic tub and “soak” the snake for about 3 hours (changing the water every so often if needed).  The reason to do this in a plastic tub with only a half inch or inch of water is because it's the humidity that this creates that helps the skin loosen and come off easier for your snake.

    Good luck.

  3. Is the cage humid enough. Does she have a rock or something to help her out? If not try misting her then sloly peeling the shed away. Its no big deal mine did it too.

  4. go slowly so as not to startle the snake as you should still be able to handle it.  If the shedding seems slow you can soak some news paper in warm water then wrap it around the snake and let it roll and squirm its way in and around the warm paper.  works every time for ours.

  5. you people need to reasearch tese answers before you answer

your snake is not ready to shed if it hasn't started yet the foggy color you see is the lubricant the snake emits to loosen and eventually help it slide out of it's shed just make sure you mist the snake everyday until it sheds when you notice it's eye's clear up n it still hasn't shed that is when you let it soak in a tub for about an hour obviously don't leave it unnattended the next morning you should wake to a beautiful shedded snake and like a few people have said keep something in it's enclosure to rub against also the substrate can be a factor it it is a bad shed i recommend eco earth i bought 3 bricks for $5 at a wharehouse but they can also be purchased at a petco or what ever reptile retailer is around you it is more expensive at those places but it is still a deal at double the price it lasts for months it is sanitary makes for easy spot cleaning and looks natural and if the snake ingests it, it is safe

    good luck

  6. it should have started by now. make sure the humidity is right. fill your bath tub with luke warm water so the snake can swim freely but so its not drowning.let your snake soak in there for a little bit. it should find something rough in its tank to shed on. make sure it does have something rough.

    good luck!

  7. umm if u can get her out of her cage by getting your thumb and forfinger behind her jaws then u can get her in some luke warm water but u dont want her to go on her own. take and set her body in the water and rub the water over her with ur other hand and only do it for about 5 to 10 minutes that will help her shedding prosses.
