  1. he/she will be shedding

  3. it can take a while for a snake to shed...with my ball pythons from the time their belly turns pinkish until they are done sometimes takes like 2 weeks almost.  the bloated look may just be that she needs to go potty...most of the time snakes p**p when they shed their skin.  and like the other person said just leave her alone and feed her a day after she sheds.

just in case you have a bad shed here is what to do...take a plastic box, large enough for your snake to fit in it comfortably but not a whole lot of moving room.  Get the short boxes for soaking snakes…the box should be about the height to go under a bed.  Drill several small holes along the sides at the top for airflow.  (this box can double for a feeding tub.)  Put about a half inch or an inch of lukewarm water (about 80 Fahrenheit) and put the top on the plastic tub and “soak” the snake for about 3 hours (changing the water every so often if needed).  The reason to do this in a plastic tub with only a half inch or inch of water is because it's the humidity that this creates that helps the skin loosen and come off easier for your snake.

    Good luck.

  4. Yes she is going to shed a tip that might save you a question in the near future if she starts having problems shedding suck as patchy shedding, skin left on the eyes etc. put her in warm bath water and the skin comes rite off...

The reason she is bloated is she needs to poo...

    Good Luck

  5. the eyes will be milky for about 2 days usually, they will then go back to normal this can usually last from 2 to 6 days. The snake will then shed.

I do not recomend taking the snake out whilst ready to shed as this can be a stressful time for the snake, mainly because it can not see, this also means not putting it in a bath for a few minutes. to aid shedding you should have a fairly large water bowl and mist the tank either 1 to 2 times a day, this is to keep the humidity level high, you could also place a damp cloth in the warm end of the tank, but its not that necessary.

Once the snake has shed it should be in one piece (like a sock) check if the eye caps have come off as this could lead to infection if they have not come off. If the snake has not shed properly and there is still some skin left on the snake, then you can give the snake a warm bath but do not attempt to peel off the skin yourself! just keep the humidity high and your snake should be fine :)

  6. they are blue gray now

they will clear in about a day or two

then another day will pass then she will shed

  7. the eyes in your snake will turn grayish or like a milky color and the skin will turn a shady white which are signs of shedding in like 2-4 days

  8. Not to sure about the bloated look, but shes definatly shedding, leave her be, and dont feed her until shes done :)
