I just got my baby ball python tree days ago. It has only used its hide boxes once and very shortly too. It was at night. Is there somthing wrong or is it still just adjusting to its new enviroment.

  1. He's just adjusting give him a few weeks

  2. hes just settling in .just leave him alone for 7-10 days to get used to his new surroundings etc. Also check the temps at both ends and make sure they are correct.

  3. lets say you moved into a new house would you hide in moving boxes... no you would explore and see what there is in the house though it is kinda suprising it wouldnt use it more than a few minutes i guess you have a very adventurous fun snake well good luck with your snake.

there kinda like potato chips you cant have just one!

  4. i have 2 ball pythons and they use a hollow tree to hide in or they have a spot to hide under the turf if they want to, i think they just hide under them when they want to cool off so i dont think you have anything to worry about

  5. Just give him a chance to adjust to his new surroundings. He should be fine in a few weeks. I honestly doubt theres anything wrong.
