The Bayer Leverkusen midfielder has claimed that Bayern Munich have the advantage in the final as they are the home team.
The Bavarian giants will take on Chelsea in the final of the UEFA Champions League at the Allianz Arena on May 19. The Bavarians got the better of Real Madrid in the semi-final whereas Chelsea downed Barcelona in the last four
fixture.
Ballack claimed that Bayern have a very good chance of lifting the trophy as they are playing at their home ground, Allianz Arena. The Bavarian giants have become the first team to contest in a final of the Champions League at

The former German international, who has played for both Bayern Munich and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 would have been able to defeat the Munich based outfit at home as they have immense quality in their ranks. He added
that Jupp Heynckes’ side has a huge advantage and should win the game.
“I think Barcelona would have been the only team capable of contesting a final abroad and winning it. It is a huge advantage when you are at home in a final, where a lot of emotions play a role. This is an emotional advantage that
Chelsea cannot compensate for,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
Ballack admitted that Chelsea are certainly the unlucky side as they will take on a team which is playing at their home. He added that it will be an exciting final anyway and remained hopeful of a mouthwatering encounter.
The midfielder refused to name the team that he wanted to win and stated that the best team on the day will lift the crown in the end.
“I have my fingers crossed for both sides,” he concluded.
