I am just starting ballet again for the first time in years. Do I need a leo and tights? This is only an adult class for people who just want to get back into dance

  1. i would wear a leotard and tights with either Sofie shorts or biker shorts but a skirt is ok, i just find themannoying.... You don't actually need to do this , but Motions Unlimited has great leotards and i would recamend looking there for a few . Also if your going to be dancing in the summer i would recommend  getting  tights that you can roll up so you won't be as warm. =)

  2. pink tights black leotard pink ballet slippers hair in bun and if you have short hair just put it in a pony tail =^..^=

  3. choose those in which your move will not be affected coz you need free movements in it.

  4. i also am an adult dancer.  Most of the ladies that i dance w/ wear a  leo. tights, and a wrap skirt.  Good luck

  5. yes most dance studios require a leotard and pink tights. you also will want to have ballet slippers. you can choose whether or not you want a chifon skirt.

  6. I would go with a leotard and tights, plus a chiffon skirt. Thats the general outfit these days. ive been to a few adult classes where they just where pants or shorts, but this doesnt help the teacher observe and correct you, and no-one is going to look down on you for wearing the correct ballet gear are they???

just make sure you feel comfortable in your outfit!!

  7. If I were you, check with the dance studio. They might have a dress code that you would have to wear but for a ballet class, ballet pink tights, a leotard, a pink canvas ballet shoe and your hair up in a bun with a hair net.

    HAVE FUN AND GOOD LUCK!
