Ballroom Dancing shoes?

Im taking ballroom classes and high heel shoes are compulsory at tonights lesson, I am not very confident in heels, and only have a couple of pairs that I wear when I go out. My question is, do you think it is okay to wear peep toes heels that are just higher than medium height to my class tonight?

dont see why not. they are high heel right, unless it was stated that they should be closed toe and of a certain height.

For beginner classes, they'll do OK, but anything you use short of real ballroom shoes will have drawbacks.
