Ballybay and Castleblayney?

Question

I am at a wedding in just over a weeks time in Castleblayney and Im struggling to find a hotel. Ive found one in Ballybay, is that close? How far is it? Would it be ok in a taxi and not loads?

Any other info would be great too

Hi Gina,

Ballybay is only 7 or 8 miles from Castleblayney so a taxi shouldnt be that expensive (sorry dont know an exact price). As far as I know theres only one hotel in Castleblayney, The Glencarn, if you havent tried this already you could enquire with them

If they have no vacancies you could also consider a B&B, the link below has info on three different B&Bs in Castleblayney:

If you are opposed to staying in a B&B, then you would be fine going with your ballybay option as its not that far away. If you wanted to find out what price it would be for a taxi from Ballybay ring O'Briens Taxi's (tel.[phone]) or Mcaviney's (tel. [phone]) both are taxi co's in Ballybay and they'd be able to tell you the cost.
