Ballygodoon Majo set to outplay his rivals in A1 400m Flat at Romford
Strath Beag is aiming for his hat-trick, but Ballygodoon Majo will not let him accomplish the feat easily at Romford on Monday, March 12, 2012.
The two quality hounds will unleash their talent in a 400 metres flat race, scheduled to start at 21:17 (GMT). The Grade A1 clash holds a cash prize of £135.
Among the participants are: Ballygodoon Majo, Cry Lightening, Strath Beag, Centurion Jack, Butterbridge Jen and Bower Teddy.
Ballygodoon Majo is worth chancing, as he displayed a reasonable performance in his previous race on March 06. The brindle dog was quite fascinating throughout the competition, but remained unsuccessful in topping the chart. He ended up second by three quarters
of a length.
After a decent performance, the bookies are expecting him to shine in today’s race. D. Mullins’ hound is well capable of producing a winning performance, but it will not be a straightforward outing for him.
Strath Beag is in sublime form at the moment. In both of his previous races, the black dog sealed top position by a short head distance. His latest triumph came on March 08, when he outsmarted Mercury Storm to grab the glory.
With two close victories under his belt, the J. Reynolds-trained is confident of adding another victory to his tally. He is blessed with track knowledge, and that might work as an advantage.
Cry Lightening sealed a couple of back to back wins in February. However, the black b***h failed to carry forward the good work, losing her following race terribly. In her last race, the b***h delivered a decent performance, nabbing second slot comfortably.
Centurion Jack is also a recent winner. But it is not going to be an easy trip for him, since he will have to do something special in order to beat the likes of Strath Beag and Ballygodoon Majo. The remaining two hounds will attempt to put cat amongst the
pigeons.
Conclusion
Ballygodoon Majo is heading the market at the moment. The brindle dog, who will start proceedings from the blue box, has decent chances of winning a medal tonight.
Strath Beag will test Ballygodoon Majo’s abilities, as he is in winning mood these days. The spectators at Romford are set to witness a dramatic event.
