An exceptionally successful entry for the Ladbrokes 1800 888 777 Open 575 is the two-year-old, Ballyhoe Elsa. Through the very short racing experience that he had, it has been just thrice that he has lost a race and at those instances too he was placed. After missing another race to a second position, Ballyhoe Elsa won the Ladbrokes Derby Final Night Open 525 on 8th August, 2012 over 525 yards at the Shelbourne Park. Breaking strongly and then leading from the third spot got him the race in 28.75 seconds while setting the margin of three lengths. Finishing the closest to the winner was, Urban Artist, who took 28.99 seconds for reaching the other end.
His last try culminated into a second position as he missed the race by the mere margin of ¾ of a length.
He is backed by 6 to 1 odds for undermining and winning over the competition tonight.
