Ballyhoe Elsa set to thrive in Ladbrokes.com 525 at Shelbourne Park
The punters should not judge Ballyhoe Elsa on her last performance, when she finished third behind Horse. One must look at her wonderful track record before making an opinion.
No one can underestimate her class just after a single unlucky ride. The black b***h is determined to put her journey back on the winning ways, and holds an obvious chance of dominating the proceedings in the Ladbrokes.com 525, taking place at Shelbourne Park on Thursday, August 2nd.
The daughter of Ballyhoe Marble came to this track after producing plenty of good results at different venues. She started off her career with four brilliant victories. The b***h was quite impressive on her last two winning trips at Kilky, as she sealed the first rank by 8½ lengths on both occasions.
Stepping up to the higher class has always been a concern for runners, but Ballyhoe Elsa is more than capable of coping up with the pressure. She has a wonderful record over 525 yards and therefore, it would be an unwise move to ignore her chances for the top rank.
Other runners in the line-up are: Forest Rock, Premier Glory, Barbican Bullet, Lolos Hurricane and Pucker Up. The €500 open race is scheduled to begin at 19:55 GMT.
Premier Glory is a dangerous hound, but his inconsistent run might prevent the punters from supporting him. After winning a race here in mid July, the black dog could not carry forward the good work, and finished fifth last time around.
Forest Rock has a decent experience at this level. Nevertheless, Mason’s black dog cannot be trusted, because victories have dried up for him these days. He was awful in his last three open races.
Lolos Hurricane is completely out of form these days. Similar is the case with Barbican Bullet, who does not have a fascinating record under his belt. Pucker Up ran well in defeat on last two occasions, but this is far from easy.
With most of the rivals struggling with their form, it is an ideal chance for Ballyhoe Elsa to open her account at the top level. We wish the best of luck to all the runners.
