Ballymac Denis likely to dominate The Ladbrokes Sprint
Ballymac Denis is likely to dominate proceedings in The Ladbrokes Sprint at Hall Green in England on Wednesday, April 18, 2012. The winner of the Grade OR event will be awarded a cash prize of £500.
The 258 metres flat race is scheduled to start at 20:35 GMT and the entries confirmed for it are as follows: Ballymac Denis, Fifis Rocket, Fernhill Jess, Step On Lee, Clomantagh Rock and Markeys Dragon.
The S. Buckland’s trainee has been delivering some very good performances in this class and is likely to repeat another solid result in today’s race at Hall Green. He seems to like running at this venue, as he has produced some very good results here.
Ballymac Denis was unable to stamp authority in his most recent race though, as he ended up fourth overall. He had been given pretty decent odds back then, but lacked the speed to match his rivals. However, he is known as a good starter, thus will
definitely benefit from the race distance today.
The punters will be expecting a dominant show from the brindle dog, despite the fact that he is not carrying the winning momentum at the moment.
Ballymac Denis’s speed might prove to be unmatchable at the end of the day. He is the son of Ballymac Maeve out of Ballymac Peg and was born in January 2009.
Fifis Rocket, trained by C. Allsopp, is the one expected to challenge the race favourite hound at Hall Green today, as he is in very good rhythm right now. There is a lot of consistency in his performances, thus the punters will be encouraged to risk
some money in his favour. However, he will need a special effort in order to finish on top of the table.
The white and black dog is lacking the winning momentum at the moment and he is expected to turn the tables this time around. He is the son of Brett Lee out of Droopys Ruby and was born in January 2008.
Looking at the current form of Ballymac Denis, it seems that he will comfortably finish on top of the table today.
