Ballymac First likely to get her head in front in Boyneside Kennels A1/A2 550 Round 1 Heat 2 at Harold’s Cross
Harold’s Cross is not a new venue for Ballymac First, who has registered multiple wins here in the past. Her recent stats are pretty impressive and despite a significant step up in class, the b***h remains a solid option for betting in the Boyneside Kennels
A1/A2 550 Round 1 Heat 2 on Friday, August 31st.
The blue b***h is returning to this track after doing three good acts at Dundalk. She completed the order of finish in an A2 event at Dundalk last month, but did not lose confidence.
She started off this month with a classy win over De Blue Bolt. In a 550 yards race, the daughter of Burnpark Champ seized the first position by 5¾ lengths. She did not let things slip out of her hands, when stepped up in trip last twice. The b***h secured
the well-deserved runner-up spot on previous two occasions.
Ballymac First knows this track very well, and has proved her mettle a number of times. The draw is not in her favour, but still one needs a big heart to ignore her. If she manages to avoid crowding early on, there will be no one to stop her from bagging
the first prize.
Other hounds in the crew are: Oran Son, Any Time Jim, Right Brother, Leinster Lion and Amberly. Just like the opening race, Heat 2 carries a cash prize of €50. The proceedings will be begun at 20:32.
Leinster Lion is returning to action after more than two months. The white and black dog would probably need a few trips to gain momentum. Oran Son is an interesting contestant. His recent work at Galway is decent enough to suggest that he has a major role
to play today.
Amberly’s misery is expected to continue. Any Time Jim has won an open race, but at a different track. His experience is hard to overlook though, thus the punters should keep an eye on him. Right Brother is unlikely to show something special after three
awful defeats.
Oran Son and Any Time Jim will make things tricky for rest of the pack, but Ballymac First is well capable of giving a strong response. Good luck to all the hounds.
