Ballymac Folly seeking for the career hat trick in the Barking And Dagenham College Dash at Romford
The Barking And Dagenham College Dash will get hosted by Romford over 400 metres flat on Friday, 13th April. Competing tonight are Ballymac Folly, Sporty Ted, Risky Fred, Bit View Tornado, Slippery Tigger and Bank Bailout. The race carries a £150
prize money.
The strongest entry for the race is Ballymac Folly, Ballymac Maeve’s two-year-old white and fawn daughter out of b***h, Ballymac Choice. The two-year-old started off with the 2012 campaign by getting drilled over 420 metres at Peterborough on 1st
March and raced through the distance in 25.75 seconds.
Her career debut was in a 420 metres race at Peterborough on 8th March which was won by Squire who timed the track distance in 26.20 seconds and led the field by three lengths.
She then bagged the career debut victory on 15th March at Peterborough over 420 metres by clocking the track distance in 25.59 seconds. Ballymac Folly led the runner up of the race, Farloe Handy, by 3 ¼ lengths.
Her second career success was in a Grade A1 420 metres flat race on 28th March at Peterborough. Ballymac Folly was entered as the 7/4 favourite and she completed the trip in 25.19 seconds. The runner up of the race, Killacolla Zorro, was adrift
by 3 ¼ lengths and went across the wire after 25.45 seconds.
Chicago Prince settled third behind the winner and took 25.53 seconds to conclude the race.
She is all prepared for striking her career hat trick today as she practiced over 420 metres at Peterborough on 2nd April and mastered the track distance in 25.61 seconds.
No other candidate for the race has been able to translate the most recent start in a victory thus Ballymac Folly enjoys that edge too. However, she will need to look out for the four-year-old black dog, Sporty Ted, as he has endured a fresh loss in his
most recent race, straight out of two victories. It deprived him of the hat trick that could have been credited against his name.
He went out training over 480 metres at Swindon on 24th March and has raced only twice after that which enhances his chances of threatening the victory for Ballymac Folly tonight.
