Ballymac Glenda hot favourite for D.H.S. Begley Peterborough Graders Derby - Heat 2
Ballymac Glenda is likely to dominate proceedings in the D.H.S. Begley Peterborough Graders Derby - Heat 2 at Peterborough in England on Wednesday, June 20, 2012. A cash prize of £98 will be awarded to the winner of the Grade A15 event.
The 420 metres flat race is scheduled to start at 20:40 GMT and a total of six quality hounds will be seen in action. Their names are as follows: Ballymac Glenda, Killacolla Posh, Killacolla Pedro, Isheforreal, Baycity Joe and Masada Scolari.
Looking at the performances of Ballymac Glenda, it seems that no one will be able to match her skills at Peterborough. She is carrying a terrific momentum right now, thus the punters are likely to risk the maximum number of bets on her.
The R. Devenish’s trainee has won twice out of her previous five outings whereas finished runner up on three occasions. This proves that she is in spectacular form at the moment and her opponents will find it quite hard to challenge her.
In her most recent outing, the blue b***h finished runner up, despite being rated as the favourite to win. She appeared to have a clear run, but lacked the speed to challenge the winner in the end.
However, Ballymac Glenda has the tools to make a strong comeback today. Most of her opponents are struggling for consistency, which will give her an edge over them. If she gets a clear run, no one will be able to stop her from taking the top spot.
The favourite b***h is the daughter of Elite State out of Ballymac Em and was born in September 2009.
On the other hand, Killacolla Posh is also expected to make a solid impression in the race, as she is a very good runner. However, she has not been in great form over the past few events, which will discourage the bettors to risk money on her.
The P. Ward’s trainee finished third in her most recent race, despite being rated as the favourite to win. Her supporters would have been extremely disappointed with the outcome back then, as she was unable to come anywhere close to the front runners.
