Ballymac Jones likely to win Williamhill.Com Festival Flyer Trial Stakes
The C. Evans-trained brindle dog, Ballymac Jones, has summed up a lot of confidence that will lead him well in the Williamhill.Com Festival Flyer Trial Stakes at Sunderland racecourse tonight, June 29.
The high-stakes Open Race over 261 meters is scheduled to commence at 20:58 (GMT). The prize purse of the event contains £150.
Ballymac Jones owns a terrific track record. Since starting his career in November 2011, the two-year-old brilliant hound has accomplished a number of notable feats in different formats of the game.
From November 15 to January 14, the son of Kinloch Brae out of Ballymac Vicky elegantly won two T3, one T2 and one OR race in a row. The T3 contests over 470 meters went down at Belle Vue while the T2 and OR races took place at Sunderland.
The dashing do extended his winning momentum to 2012 as well and finished as a runner-up in two consecutive OR races during January.
From April 14 to May 13, Ballymac Jones nicely gained three runner-up ranks and two thirds consecutively in OR races. He again accomplished a grand victory by the margin of 4 lengths in a T2 event over 268 meters at Kinsley on June 10.
The dog finished second in his last OR outing again at Kinsley on June 17. These stats suggest that he has been an average performer in OR format of the game, but the maverick runner is likely to make a big impact this time at Sunderland.
Skane Meadows is the only rival who can challenge Ballymac Jones. The J. Calvert-trained black dog marvellously accomplished a hat-trick by winning two A3 and one A1 race at 450-meter Sunderland course during April 2012.
The son of Droopys Maldini out of Bellinter Bella moved ahead to win another A1 race entitled as William Hill – The Home Of Betting Stakes again at Sunderland on May 19. In his last two OR races over 268 meters at Kinsley, he grained a runner-up rank and
a third.
Like Ballymac Jones, Skane Meadows too has mediocre record in OR format, but he will surely fight hard for success tonight.
So let us enjoy a thrilling action at Sunderland. Good luck to all the hounds.
