Ballymac Orchard all set for the Owners Bonus Series – Heat 1
The strongest contestant in the Grade A1 Owners Bonus Series – Heat 1 on Saturday, 11th August at Hall Green over 480 metres flat race is the two-year-old, Ballymac Orchard. Trying to snatch away her chances of succeeding are Inky Express, Gripping Stuff, Supreme Chalkie, Rockview Venture and Gotoon Picasso. The prize money set for the race is £145.
The two-year-old black and white b***h has been racing ever since the last season and met an unfortunate sixth position in her seasonal debut. Ballymac Orchard won the Grade A1 480 metres flat on 14th January, 2012 at Hall Green.
She set into an early pace, switched from the middle to the rails and led from the second position concluding the race in 29.12 seconds. Winning by the margin of ¾ of a length she set, Druids Arrandale, second.
The next five races saw the daughter of Premier Fantasy losing the races one after the other and then finally won the Grade A2 480 metres race on 4th April, 2012 at Hall Green. After breaking from the third gate, she switched from the middle to the rails and soon led. It took her 29.71 seconds to settle the race and win it by the margin of 1 ¼ lengths.
Rock It Roxanne finished the closest to the winner.
Ballymac Orchard bagged a hat-trick from 14th May, 2012 until 2nd June, 2012.
Out of the last four outings that came her way, she won three of them reflecting her near perfect form.
The two-year-old out of, Ballymac Okee, won The Hall Green Bags Maiden on 11th July, 2012 at Hall Green over 480 metres. She rested the race in 28.96 seconds keeping the runner-up, Criminal Court, adrift by a length.
After winning back-to-back, the two-year-old black and white b***h missed the chance for striking a hat-trick due to the fourth position in the third and final pillar.
The G. Ballentine trained won the Grade A1 480 metres flat on 4th August, 2012 in 28.79 seconds with the margin of 2 ½ lengths. Qualifying as the runner-up was, Gripping Stuff.
She is backed by 3 to 1 chances for being the first one through the wire tonight.
