Ballymac Phoenix set to stand first in A1 420m Flat
Ballymac Phoenix is all set to clinch top spot in the A1 420m Flat race that will be held at Peterborough track on Wednesday night, May 9. The action will commence at 22:30 (GMT).
On the flat course of 420 meters, the R. Devenish-trained white and brindle b***h will compete against four worthy rivals including Confident Martin, College Missile, Masada Scolari and Double Jagerbomb.
Since the beginning of 2012, Ballymac Phoenix has been performing well and making impressive marks. In the first month of the calendar year, the four-year-old veteran hound accomplished a fabulous hat-trick of victories.
The brilliant b***h moved on to finished second in her last outing on April 26. She also registered a number of iconic feats during the last year. Overall, her career is marked with epic success streaks.
Despite being a non-favourite runner, the talented daughter of Ballymac Kewell out of Ashville Katie will surely produce a stunning and sterling run tonight as she is awash with winning momentum at the moment.
If Ballymac Phoenix manages to take an early lead after the break call, her chances to finish first will be as high as 95 percent.
However, College Missile can give her a tough time as the D. Jinks-trained black dog has been doing well since the last couple of months. After getting two runner-up positions along with a third in March, the novice runner excellently broke his maiden on
April 7. He went ahead to finish as a runner-up again in his last start on April 17.
Double Jagerbomb is also likely to enjoy a great time tonight. M. Alden’s blue and white dog bagged a couple of consecutive triumphs in the last decade of March 2012. He finished second in one and third in two subsequent outings.
Each one of these two hounds can impede Ballymac Phoenix in the race unless she adopts a meticulous running strategy.
By and large, the competition will be fierce and thrilling. The race is likely to draw a big bankroll. Let us watch an amazing action tonight and see who gains what. Good luck to all the contestants.
