Ballymac Zigic dominant in the 20th Owner’s Bonus Series – Heat 1  
The three-year-old Ballymac Zigic is the most preferred entry for the Grade A2 20th Owner’s Bonus Series – Heat 1 on Saturday, 18th August. The 483 metres flat race will be held at Doncaster and the £90 prize money has attracted Short
Step, Tricky Jacob, Small Tink, Droopys Enigma and Dunham Class for the race.
Crash’s fawn and white son kick started the new season with a fifth position in the Keith Swain Standard on 5th January, 2012 at Belle Vue over 470 metres. The race was won by, Starmount Jake, in 27.98 seconds with the lead of a head.
The first success of the three-year-old was in a 483 metres race at Doncaster on 2nd March, 2012. He led from the fourth position and then went wide concluding the race in 30.64 seconds and winning by the margin of 3 ¾ lengths.
On 14th April, 2012 he won the Grade A3 483 metres flat at Doncaster over 483 metres. Entered as the joint favourite, the three-year-old won the race by leading just near the line and making it to the wire in 30.63 seconds.
Winning by the head’s margin meant that Claret N Blue had to set as the runner-up.
His performance kept fluctuating with not being able to post a hat-trick or strike a back-to-back. The seven outings in the last two months had the three-year-old winning twice.
The fawn and white son out of, Ballymac Choice, won the Grade A2 483 metres flat on 13th July, 2012 at Doncaster. After leashing from the sixth gate he raced away quickly, took the lead from the third position and raced wide concluding the race
in 30.40 seconds with the margin of two lengths.
Finishing the closest was, Dunham Mojito.
Ballymac Zigic then won the Grade A2 483 metres flat on 10th August, 2012 at Doncaster. The white and fawn dog always led while racing wide and completed the trip in 30.36 seconds with a length right under his belt.
The very recent race saw him finishing a dreadful sixth and today he is getting the chance to redeem it by claiming the tonight.
