Manchester City’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mario-Balotelli-c23937 has been labelled to be untouchable by his agent, Mino Raiola.
The Italian forward has often been linked with a move back to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 and with him proving just how good he can be in the Euro 2012, there was a lot of speculation about his future at the Etihad Stadium.
It was believed that AC Milan were interested in landing the striker and were going to go ahead and bid for the player.
The forward’s agent didn’t comment on the situation and simply stated that the player wouldn’t be going anywhere, in the near future.
However, it now seems like Balotelli has been labelled to be both unsellable and untouchable for the time being.
Raiola, when talking about the forward and his future, is quoted to have said: "Unsellable before; now untouchable"
"The sheikhs [at Man City] are completely convinced in the Balo brand; he should become one of the strongest players in the world."
Being the agent of both Balotelli and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Zlatan-Ibrahimovic-c38029, the representative then went on to admit that Ibrahimovic’s move to PSG was going to be completed in the near future.
"There are various discussions; it is a major contract. If Ibra does not want to leave, he will not sign. There are these great moments and opportunities and if all goes well, good; if it does not go well, no matter.”
"But we are here to do things well. PSG are a team that will be among the best in a few years, if they are not already."
Nonetheless, with AC Milan offloading their star striker, they are bound to look to land a forward in the near future.
This could mean that the comments about Balotelli were made to help City get the best possible price off, of his sale. At the same time, it could also mean that the agent was already trying to haggle with Milan and hoping for the club to pay top dollar to
the forward in wages.
Nonetheless, nothing is for certain in the world of football and despite Balotelli reportedly not leaving the team this summer, anything could happen in the coming weeks.
