A couple of weeks ago, Balotelli went on to admit that he wasn’t sure what the future held for him and whether he would remain in the Premier League or not.
However, with him now going on to win the Premier League trophy with City, following a very dramatic three goals to two win, it seems like he might just stick around after all.
Despite being in the headlines for all the wrong reasons, Balotelli has gone on to become a fan favourite and his on and off the pitch antics seem to give the fans something to look forward to.
As a result, just about every City fan is going to be delighted with the Italian’s decision to stay, just so they can witness his madness for a longer period of time.
When talking about his future and just what he expects to do in the future, Balotelli is reported to have said: "Too many people talk. Too many people speak about me bad. And now they need to shut up. That’s it"
"Man City is a great club, it’s a great team, great team-mates. I don’t see my future far from here, so I think I will only be here."
He then went on to talk about the league win, as he believes his side deserved to end the season as the Champions of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749, given the way they performed throughout the season.
"This proves we are the best, that’s why we won. We didn’t play very well [for the] last few games but [over the] rest of the season we played good so we deserve to win."
Despite the problems that Balotelli has had, he has been a vital part of the City team. Hence, should http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 be able to talk some sense into the player, he could turn out to be a very important part of the club in the future.
