Despite getting on the score sheet a number of times, Mario Balotelli has gone on to cause a number of problems at the Eastlands and has almost always been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons.
As a result, the forward’s future at the club was subject to a lot of debate, with many assuming that City will end up letting go on the player, or that he would opt to leave the team himself.
However, despite all these claims, the player’s representatives have insisted that the striker wants to stick around at City for as long as he can, while suggesting that he would end up retiring in Italy when he nears the end of his career.
Mino Raiola, when talking about the forward and his future in the Premier League is reported to have said: "Balotelli will end his career in Italy, but at the moment it's better for him to stay at Manchester City"
"Manchester City don't want to sell him. Mario misses Italy but this still isn't the right moment to go back.”
"I'm just here in Manchester now to talk with Mancini about Balotelli. We're not going to talk about the transfer market."
Balotelli made a move to City in 2010, but since then, he has almost always been linked with a move out o f the club, every time a transfer window has opened up.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 signed the player with hopes that he would be able to get the best out of him and have him fulfil his true potential.
Nonetheless, with that not happening so far, the manager has had second thoughts over whether the player is going to ever reach his potential or not.
Balotelli is believed to suffer from a colossal mental problem, where he seems to lose his mind if things don’t go his way.
It is still going to be interesting to see whether the Blue side of Manchester keep a hold of Balotelli at the end of the upcoming transfer window, given his nature to self destruct time and time again.
