Manchester City’s Mario Balotelli won’t be leaving the Etihad Stadium in the summer, after his agent revealed that the striker’s desire was to continue to play for the Manchester based club.
Following a rather topsy-turvy season, where Balotelli had a number of highs and lows, it was believed that his unpredictable behaviour was no longer wanted by City. As a result, people went on to put two and two together, as they felt the striker would
be on his way out of the club.
Balotelli was being linked with a move back to Italy, but his agent feels that the move is close to impossible considering the financial situation of the Italian Serie A.
Mino Raiola, when talking about Balotelli and revealing just why he won’t be leaving City is quoted to have said: "Mario Balotelli will not return to play in Italy"
"City consider Mario unsellable and Mario has no intention of returning to Serie A until Italian football improves its current situation.”

"http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926, because of the economic situation of Italian football. The top players are not coming to Italy right now.”

"In football, nothing is impossible but Mario has not asked me about it and has no intention of returning anyway."
The striker is currently part of Italy’s Euro 2012 squad and is going to return to Manchester once the tournament comes to an end.
Despite his erratic behaviour, Balotelli has almost always impressed when he has his head on right. The forward has good pace, technique and a keen eye for goal. At the same time, he often goes on to make the hardest of things look rather easy.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 has admitted that one of his primary concerns is to get the striker to act more maturely in the future. Should he be able to do that, then he could possesses a striker, who is capable of causing problems to just about any team out there.
Nonetheless, should a ridiculous offer be made for the striker, then City and the forward could go on and reassess their situation. However, for the time being it seems like Balotelli won’t be going anywhere.
