Baltasar Gracián.. did he have wife and kids or he just died as a single man?

Baltasar Gracian was was ordained in 1627 and took final vows in 1635.  Since he was raised by his uncle that was a priest.  After losing his professorship, he tried unsuccessfully to leave the Jesuits and become a monk.  Either way you look at hit..he did not seek see companionship such as wife and kids.  

One of his books titled, "The Critic" ended with one of the character's conclusion of life that "Men are bad, women worse."
