Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco runs havoc in Jacksonville Jaguars game – NFL News
Baltimore Ravens’ quarterback Joe Flacco ran havoc in game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday to produce one of the best performances in the league and help his side claim a convincing 48-17 victory against their opponents.
Joe showed why he had been boasting to be amongst the top quarterbacks in the league and it appears that the decision of the team to hire a purposeful QBs coach Jim Caldwell has finally started paying them off.
Flacco produced superb results, completing 27 of 36 passes for 266 yards. His two touchdowns were timely and impressive. The QB left the field early in third quarter; he had chances to inflict an even greater blow to the Jaguars’ defence otherwise.
Head coach John Harbaugh was a pleased man due to the outcome of the tie and particularly with the fact that Joe led the attack from the front so successfully.
John said:
"Joe put up some good numbers there for three quarters, and the red-zone defence was really good. We finished things. That's the one thing we've been striving for. We finished catches. We finished runs. We finished drives for the most part."
It is good news for Joe that the Baltimore Ravens have finally started giving importance to their offence as much as they do to their defence and now he has proved that with a little effort in training and grooming he is capable of producing impressive results
on the field.
Jim Caldwell is credited to have groomed some of elite QBs in the league like Denver Broncos QB Peyton Manning and since joining the Ravens following release by the Indianapolis Colts he promised to transform Joe’s skills and talent. There are signs that
he is successful in achievement of the objective so far.
Joe’s performance is also good news for the Ravens given the team is struggling at the defensive position with a number of players out due to respective injury problems. The offence’s timely clicking to form must also satisfy the managers and coaches that
they can be successful in making up for the loss of the defence strength.
