Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh confident to work through Ravens difficulties – NFL News
Baltimore Ravens’ Coach John Harbaugh played down the suggestions of inconsistency shown by his team in the view of their last Sunday's defeat against the Seattle Seahawks in the current regular season of the American football
league, National Football League (NFL).
He refuted the impression that the blame for the game loss should be put on to his team’s performance. Further adding, he said that the defeat was down to the fundamentals of the game of the football, not the mental make of his
team.
The Ravens, who had visited the Seahawks on the past Sunday, lost their game 17-22 to Seattle. They were faced with many difficulties, one being at the kick returns. However, the coach who was faced the media questions for about
20 minutes in his post game press conference said they would work out through the difficulties and find their lost touch.
He appeared calm at the surface while answering the journalist questions. He said it was matter of the time that they did not deliver when they should have, as a whole team.
The coach said that it was not the issue for to think about how much passes were thrown, what was the ratio of runs or whether or whether not the Ravens could have run more.
"The comparisons that people want to draw between the three games, that's all hypothetical, theoretical stuff," Harbaugh said. "When you know football, you understand the schemes that you see and the situations that you face are
different in every single game. ... I'm not a psychologist. I think what you do is you look at football. We're moving forward. We took responsibility for the loss and we're moving forward."
However, irrespective to the coach’s claims Raven's running back Ray Rice reportedly was not happy with some issues after the Seahawks’ Sunday game. However, he refused to reporters to divulge on it and kept to himself.
Meanwhile the coach Harbaugh said that they were looking to change the position of their kick returner David Reed. In their last match Reed had two fumbles on kick returns, in the first of half of the game. He was also flagged
for an 'unsportsmanlike' conduct.
The Ravens hosting Cincinnati Bengals on the coming Sunday and the coach expressed his confidence that they would be able to work out their difficulties before then.
