Baltimore Ravens performance report till Week 7 – NFL Special Part 2Ravens went into Week 4 with their heads high as they were coming off a stunning victory against high-flying New England Patriots.The defence was finally coming back to form while the offence was supported by good performance from running back Ray Rice and quarterback Joe Flacco.Week 4: Cleveland BrownsRavens got another convincing win after they beat Cleveland Browns 23-16 in a game where Flacco returned to form.Flacco finished the game with 28 of 46 for 356 yards and scored passing as well as rushing touchdowns.Cornerback Cary Williams returned an interception for a touchdown which was enough for Ravens to seal the victory despite Browns scoring two field goals in final quarter.Browns rookie quarterback Brandon Weeden was unable to give good performance against a stout Ravens defence.Week 5: Kansas City ChiefsIt was a tough game for Ravens as their offence never really got going but three field goals form kicker Justin Tucker were enough for getting a 9-6 victory against Kansas City Chiefs.Rice ran for 102 yards on 17 carries which allowed Ravens to get in perfect position on the field to score field goals.Week 6: Dallas CowboysRavens edged out Dallas Cowboys with 31-29 win in Week 6.Rice got two one-yard runs to the end zone at crucial moments when the game was hanging in balance.Jacoby Jones tied the National Football league (NFL) record for a kickoff return for a touchdown.He returned 108 yards to reach the end zone in the third quarter of the game to take Ravens’ lead to 24-13.Ravens defence got lots of bad news in this game as they lost cornerbacks Jimmy Smith, Lardarius Webb and middle linebacker Ray Lewis along with defensive tackle Haloti Ngata due to injuries.Week 7: Houston TexansIt was an eye-opening game for Ravens which gave them a tough lesson that succeeding in the NFL is not an easy task. Texans thrashed Ravens 43-13 in an extraordinary game where Ravens got 3-29 behind in the first half.Texans defence did not allow Flacco to move his arms freely.
