Bamboo sushi mats?

Does anyone know if they sell bamboo sushi mats at grocery stores like albertsons or stater brothers or orchards?

Only if the neighborhood has a large population of Japanese or if the store gets a lot of requests for a particular item.

However, if your local store does not carry them, and assuming that you are in the USA, you can buy authentic ones (real bamboo) at Japan Super. Look under the Kitchen category. They, also, have a Sushi category, where you can find most of the other things you need to make Sushi.

the should, under the asian foods section. if not, going to an asian supermarket is my next reccommendation.

some do, although most stores adjust their stock to local demands. check the import food section or ethnic cuisine section. but if you cannot find them in your area, you can order them from amazon.com-just search bamboo sushi mats.
