Banana trees dripping sap...?

i recently purchased 2 banana trees and they both are dripping sap on the leaves whats wrong with them?

I have two Banana plants indoors & every time I water them they drip water all over the place from the leaves, I was told this is a sign of a healthy plant. Mine are growing quite profusely even indoors.Just make sure the soil is kept moist & feed with a liquid feed every couple of weeks.Good luck with them.
