  1. I know whole milk contains a lot of fat, so skim milk is healthy and less fattening. As for bananas, they're great because they contain lots of potassium, but eating it too much can be really fattening.


  2. Anything eaten in excess is fattening. Once you're reached your caloric limit for the day, even an apple, in theory, can be fattening. It's all about the balance and timing of your calories. No food is in and of itself fattening. You can eat fried chicken daily for weeks on end and not put on an ounce. Just don't go hog wild at each feeding. :-)


  3. I have a banana and a small glass of milk almost every morning. When people say to just not over eat,even with the healthy things like bananas, they know what their talking about. Bananas are good for you and I noticed I had more energy in the morning when I stopped eating sugary cereal and started eating bananas instead. Yes, I have an occasional bowl of sweet cereal now and then. I just don't go crazy over the stuff anymore.  

  4. I don't drink milk, not because it's "fattening", but because I'm a human adult and not a baby cow. Also, all of the added hormones, antibodies and animal abuse that comes with a gallon of milk isn't worth it.

    However, I do eat bananas. They're healthy, sweet and delicious. I'm not "fat" either. (I don't buy the propaganda that comes with dairy products helping one stay thin or that yogurt can make one regular. I don't eat yogurt, obviously, and I don't have a problem with regularity.)
