Bananas in Ireland?

Did you know that Ireland is the biggest exporter of bananas in Europe?! Fyffe buys the whole banana crop of Balise (or somewhere similar sounding! LOL!!!) and then sells them to the the rest of Europe!!

Now there's another reason why you should be proud to be Irish!!

  11. What Qi didn't tell you is that Ireland holds the prices that they pay for the whole crop and manipulates the profit that the Country of Belize gets... By being the biggest customer, in fact the only one, a monopoly exsists that stops Belize getting a better deal from anyone else and keeps the farmers from getting a better rate of pay. It is nothing to be proud off !
