  1. They might've been covered in boiled sugar and water or corn syrup. Not totally sure though. Were they like a SWEET or like a SWEEEEEEET?

  2. It's a banana cooked in thick syrup, probably with honey or banana Essenes.

Here in the Philippines we call it "Saba" it's a type of banana used as ingredients in main courses and desserts.

Just boil 250 grams of sugar , half cup of corn syrup ( to prevent crystallising) a drop of banana essenes. When the sugar is already boiling turn down the heat and add chopped Saba bananas. Stir while cooking because it burns easily.

There you go , happy eating!

  3. what did it taste like? or how did they look?

  4. you might be able to saute them briefly in a pan with a little oil, then pour a little corn syrup on them?? You can buy corn syrup in the baking section of the grocery store. That would be, basically, sweetened, warm, cooked bananas without any spices. That would actually taste good, i'd sprinkle with a little cinnamon mmmm
