well im in a rock-pop band (our biggest influence is paramore just so you can get an idea of our style) and we were wondering whats a good way to make money for equipment....and whats the best way to get gigs? and songwriting tips......and any other advice about being in a band would be unbeleiveably helpful!!!!

gigs are probbly the best way to make money, look out for advertisements and make sure the place ur playin at suits ur style. Check places that have like " Rock thursday" or watever my band started by playing every thursday at this club type place. And remember to practice obv. Oh yea and one last thing play a sort of awerness gig at ur school i did and more pple frm my school went to our gigs.

I would imagine doing a few cover songs would be good, then start writing your own.

And for money, well how old are you? maybe a loan would work.
