Band help!?!?!?!?

yeah so my friends and i are wanting to start a band, we know the genre of music we want is like rock music (like the band 'paramore'), but we have no idea how to actually do anything, we need help on like everything...how do we write songs/get inspiration for songs? what instruments should we use? how do we get gigs? how do we do anything to get attention so that we can earn a little money...we will take as much advise and as many tips as you can give!! plz help us!!

Well first get a name, then get members, Minimum of a bass player, guitar, player, drummer, and singer. Singer can go with any of those. Then I'm assuming write lyrics, then the music or vice versa, or just do covers of songs (great for starting bands) and just keep an eye open at local places or just play in a garage with the doors open so people can hear you or something but the main thing isn't making money it's to have fun, and best of luck.
