Bandicoot Ripley favourite for Sittingbourne Super Standard - Heat 2
Bandicoot Ripley is tipped to win the Sittingbourne Super Standard - Heat 2 at Sittingbourne in England on Sunday, June 10, 2012. The winner of the 500 metres flat race will be awarded a cash prize of £100 in the end.
The action is scheduled to start at 20:45 GMT and following entries have been confirmed for the race: Coolavanny John, Bandicoot Ripley, Verdun Sunset, Dorcas Holly, Kiltomey Simba and Masterful.
Out of the above mentioned hounds, Bandicoot Ripley seems to be in the best shape at the moment and he is likely to walk away with a comfortable victory today. However, he will have to be at his absolute best, as there will be some quality hounds against
him.
The K. Findlay’s trainee has been doing a decent job over the past few events, thus the punters will be encouraged to risk some bets on him. He has also got some useful experience, which means that it will be hard to beat him today.
The white and black dog has won a couple of races out of his past three outings in this class, which shows the kind of momentum he is carrying right now. If he gets a clear run, no one will be able to match him.
In his most recent appearance at Sittingbourne, Bandicoot Ripley was unable to make a solid impression, as he finished third overall, despite being rated as favourite to win. He could have done a lot better, but lacked the stamina to finish on top
of the table. However, he is still expected to bounce back strongly today.
The favourite hound is the son of Crash out of Bandicoot Lola and was born in August 2009.
However, the bookies have shown more confidence in the abilities of Coolavanny John, who is carrying the winning momentum right now. He has managed to win once out of his past three Grade OR outings and his performances in other events have also been
decent.
The K. Findlay’s trained dog was rated as favourite to win his most recent event and he lived up to the expectations of everyone. He was dominant throughout the race and triumphed by two and a half lengths.
