now last time i asked this i got answers like"metallica, Red hot chilli peppers, Alice in chains, THEY ARE NOTHING LIKE NIRVANA. also i know of the foo fighters so i odnt want them as an answer

I know this may not seem helpful, but it's true. You'll never find a band that has the same sound as Nirvana. Countless bands have tried to imitate Kurt Cobain's voice combined with his song-writing style ever since he died, but none of them have succeeded and I doubt anyone ever will.

What do you mean by "LIKE Nirvana" then? They were grunge. Alice in Chains were grunge too... Ok, I admit Metallica and RHCP are far from grunge, but here's my list:
