Who's wagon is more filled at the moment? Red Wings or Penguins?Who's wagon is gonna become almost completely empty at the end of the cup finals?

Seriously...there needs to be a stop to all of these people coming here and trash everyone in there way and can't take a joke.Maybe this is why many of the regulars don't come on anymore because they know there just gonna get reported or thrashed at.Does anyone here get amused by the fighting or do you hate it when it happens?

Is the world gonna end when the cup finals are over...kinda like when two falcon punches collide?

  1. I don't pay that much attention to hockey anymore(partially because of the lockout and partially because they don't fight as much anymore), but when I did I was always a New Jersey Devils fan(except the year the Hurricanes won the Stanley Cup--I was an admitted bandwagon Hurricanes fan then).

  2. The Wings band wagon seems to be the biggest right now. The Wings are gonna come up empty cuz Pittsburgh's gonna rock them.

  3. More amusing are the comments from ignorance than the comments from hatred. There was the other night, when a girl declared herself the biggest Penguins fan in the world and said "When we get back to the Malone Center..."

Those are the moments I live for.

  4. By definition, the Penguins' wagon is filled beyond capacity. I mean by definition, it's the amount of homers on it. If there are any fair-weather Wings fans, they're pretty smart about their hockey. Wings' homers are a bit more far and inbetween.

  5. seeing as the wings are leading 2-1 i will say their wagon is more full..pens wagon will be empty at the end of the finals

true detroit fan...born and raised..GO WINGS

  6. Don't know the answer to your questions 'cause I never go to Detroit.  However, the Pens sold out every home game this year.  Not bandwagon fans.

On another note, I was a bandwagon fan when the Pens won in 1991.  I never watched a hockey game before in my life until they made the playoffs that year.  Been a true black & gold Pens fan ever since!  When a team does well, they accumulate fans that stay with them for years, even when they start to lose.

    Go Pens!

  7. During the regular sesion 15% of TV viewers in the Pittsburgh area were watching the Pens when they were on. During last nights game 70% of TV viewers in the Pittsburgh area were watching the pens play.

  8. The Red Wings wagon grows day by day!

  9. pirates fan- two years ago, the mellon might night even be half full, and then when they got good, they started seeling out games, to me that seems like bandwagoning.  if detroit hasnt sold out any games in the past 10 years, its because of economy, so in the end, pittsburgh is filled then some.  detroit has the bandwagoners, but they could do fine without them.

  10. I gotta say, I was crushed when the Wild was knocked out of the run. I haven't liked Dallas or the Sharks since the NorthStars were split into the two teams and sent off to San Jose and Dallas with the franchise, so I was pretty hyped up for those two teams to get beat and I don't like the Flyers, no offense Flyers fans, it's a personal thing from childhood, my Grampa was a Flyer-hater and it's in the blood apparently. Jean Paul Tessier is my cousin. He didn't play for the Pens for long, but he did. The Wings are exciting to watch. But really, how do you see these two teams play and not have respect for them? I just thought it would make for a great Stanley Cup for the two to meet. I think the next game will be a real battle. Things are heating up, baby.

  11. Hey - once the Flyers were knocked out of the playoffs I started rooting for the Red Wings to win the Stanley Cup.  They've got a couple of my favorite players, including Lidstrom :)

And why would I root for the Pens if they knocked my Flyers out of the playoffs?

I can't stand the Penguins at all!

  12. I'd say the Penguins' wagon is pretty full. if they lose, OR win for that matter, it will probably be almsot completely empty, aside for those of us who were there to begin with. Since there are so many "young HOT" guys playing for Pittsburgh, all the girls want them to win.

& yeah there are alot of people on here who can't really take a joke. it IS kind of amusing though to see what people have to say.

  13. Honestly, I have seen a massive decrease in bandwagon fans for the Penguins, while Detroit barely had any to start off with, because apparently through the words of one puck bunny "there are no hot guys there (in Detroit)."
