What do you guys think of Bangalore Auto drivers? I find them so rude and insulting. I am not talking about one off experiences, This is like a norm.

Is there a place where we can complain ? and Is there any hope that if we complain, any kind of real action will be taken?

  1. Are you a native bangalorean. Sometimes these auto drivers in Bangalore are fanatic giving importance to their own people who can speak good kannada. People who come from different parts of the country are just trying to learn kannada which they dont understand. But if you are still a native bangalorean and you are getting insulted, note the number and you may go to the police station or any prepaid auto drivers stand and complaint to them about the situation. I am not too sure if it work, but u may give it a try. Otherwise just go for your own transport like a small car or a bike.

    Cheers

  2. When I was in India, it seemed as though everyone in India drove that way.  But it was honestly one of the things I will always remember and made it an amazing experience for me.  To those of us who are not native to India, more so native to America, or at least those of us who love other countries, it is a thrill and definitely an adrenaline rush!

***And no, rickshaws should not be banned.  That was another experience I will never forget! Aww! I love India!!***

  3. auto rickshaw drivers in most cities are rude and insulting

  4. Yes Divakar, Too feel so,

But in other southern states as concerned, Kerala Auto drivers are exceptionally good especially in Calicut Region…They are fantastic…….this the difference because of the Basic Education

  5. even local bangaloreans are most quarrelsome , abusive, and ............real jerks.

  6. O yeah , those rickshaw drivers are uncivilized beast. They don't know how to talk  and behave professional.

I guess they should ban those auto rickshaws  in Bangalore.
