  1. For Hotels

You can try hotel search in http://www.AmericaCheapHotels.com where you can read hotel reviews and comments, see photos and its physical locations through maps ...

Best thing is you can compare the USA/worldwide hotel prices in any city in any country in your local currency.

You can find good deals because this compares hotel prices from 30 best travel websites.

You can even able to filter out hotel by its features such as Star hotels,Business Center, Room Service, High-speed Internet, Fitness Room, Restaurant Parking, Swimming pool, Pets Allowed, Airport shuttle, Handicap Accessible, Concierge.

Access lots of USA and worldwide travel information.

  2. If you go to the Khao San Road in Bangkok the travel agencies there will sell you an overnight coach journey (on very comfy coaches) to Surrat Thani, where you wait an hour or two at dawn then get on a small ferry for a 2-3 hour trip over to Samui. All this will cost you about 350-500 Baht (£5-£8) each.

Wherever you stay on Samui they will be able to arrange transport over to the party, though if I were you I'd try and arrange a slow boat or go very early in the evening because the speed boats, though there are 3 that run constantly, can't keep up with the amount of people wanting to go so you end up having to physically barge your way through people to try and get on the boat, and given that most of these people are drunken western morons with no manners you end up doing this waist deep in the sea which is not a pleasant experience.

Phi Phi is on the other side of the country, you'll be able to book transport over to the general area (Krabi province) from anywhere on Samui and once there you will have no problem arranging travel over to the island, though you may want/have to stay a night on the mainland first.

  3. better take airplane. easiest and best way to go... about accommodation.. try this website... it got best rate guarantee with very variety range of prices. http://www.discovery-thailand.com/Hotels... and it easy to select hotel with location map..have a nice trip

Surat Thani Railway Station is 12 kilometers from town. A bus service between the station and the town is available.

After that you have to get boat from Surat Thani to Koh Samui

  5. Once you get to Bangkok there are many travel agencies to buy cheap plane tickets to Ko Samui! Dont bother with train and bus as you waste loads of time and internal flights are so cheap!

After Ko Samui head over to Phuket and from there u can easily go to Ko phi phi!

you will have a great time!

  6. hi, im planning to attend full moon party in Ko Phangan! its on September 14th, i have a direct flight to bangkok and after one night stay there 12 sep, i will have flight to ko samui which is near to ko phahang! then from there going to phuket for 5 nights stay, but if your flight is on 15th then you will be too late for a full moon party then, check if you can fix it.

  7. Thai Airways operate flights between Bangkok and Ko Samui (since April, 2008). They have near-hourly departures to/from Bangkok; tickets are expensive by Thai standards though, with advance bookings costing 2000-3500 baht.

I'd go with the Khaosan Road option myself; a day or two there is an experience on it's own.
