The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has decided to launch an investigation into the alleged umpire corruption charges after a sting operation by an Indian network, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750 TV revealed the involvement of ICC umpires in match-fixing.
The BCB has formed a committee that includes Sirajuddin Mohammad http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Alamgir-c42603 and Mahmood Jamal, and its head of anti-corruption and security Mesbahuddin Serniabat to carry out the inquiry.

Admitting that he had met the undercover reporters, Shah insisted that he felt threatened and declined to cooperate with them.
“I felt threatened by what they were saying and as a result I went along with what they were asking me to do. I knew it was wrong and a few days later I was told by my agent that they were not the sort of people I should talk to. They called me a few times afterwards but I said I don't want to be disturbed," said the umpire.
